Military Operations on Urbanized Terrain (MOUT) and After Action Review System (AARS).

 

Ft. Carson MOUT Range

LVW engineered and installed a custom digital AARS. Our design incorporates a Systems Ops Command & Control Suite, all A/V hardware and a complete communication network supporting all A/V & Data as well as Battlefield Special Effects and Interactive Targets.
The SOC will be able to control, monitor, record and review any training session. The installed infrastructure includes roughly 4.5 miles of underground conduit and 9 miles of fiber optic cabling.

 

Ft. Carson M.O.U.T Video Monitoring

 

Additional M.O.U.T. Range locations were constructed in December 2004 and are equipped with Pelco, Wireless Technologies, Data-Link, General Solutions, Extron and Panasonic systems. Exercise video is recorded digitally and then processed at another Range location, providing custom edited After Action Review Briefings. More photos can be viewed in our gallery.

Installation of Audio/Visual Systems including equipment from Christie Projection, QSC Amps, Extron Switching, Da-Lite Screens, AudiaFLEX DSP, Renkus Heinz TRX Loudspeakers, Shure & Sennheiser wireless microphone systems.
 

Quoting the Reverend Edward M. Hoffman; "In a project of design and installation extending for more than one year, LVW worked in seamless cooperation with our consultants, Kirkegaard Associates and the parish task force organized to guide the total process. The project was completed on time and on budget with clear instruction and direction to the CRC staff in the utilization of the new systems. LVW deserves preferred consideration by any parish planning to install audio-visual equipment."

The Event Center

The Amphitheatre was closed in early September 2001 to allow for construction of a new Visitor Center and other amphitheatre improvements.  LVW was contracted to design and install the Audio Video Systems for the new center and also the In House Mix Position.

A Campus Wide inside/outside emergency paging system for the United States Air Force Academy using equipment from Toa, RDL, Atlas Soundolier, Altec Lansing, Shure,  Idec, Mackenzie Labs and Fiber Options.

 Red Rocks

 

LVW Electronics has been awarded a prime contract by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Volpe Center in Cambridge, MA, part of the Research and Special Programs Administration to support transportation security activities undertaken by the Center.  This five-year contract involves the design, engineering, installation and testing of state-of-the-art transportation security systems and solutions.

This project included an Access Control System, CCTV and Intercom Systems using Checkpoint w/ Threshold Software, HID Card Readers, Securitron Mag Locks, Aiphone's LEF3 & 5 intercom systems, Pelco and Weldex cameras with a Dedicated Micros DVR. The project ran from June, 2004 and was completed January 21st, 2005
